- Transportation Planning:

- Develop and execute transportation schedules to meet production and delivery deadlines.
- Optimize routes and modes of transport to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
- Coordinate with bottling facilities, carriers, and distribution centers.
- Carrier Management:

- Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation service providers.
- Monitor carrier performance and resolve any service issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Inventory and Load Coordination:

- Plan and oversee the loading of trucks to maximize space and minimize costs.
- Monitor inventory levels at bottling plants and distribution centers to prevent stockouts or overages.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyze transportation costs, trends, and performance metrics.
- Generate reports on delivery times, freight costs, and efficiency improvements.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements.
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to align transportation plans with business needs.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure all transportation activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Implement and maintain safety standards for the handling and transport of goods.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management preferred but not required, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in transportation planning, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the beverage or FMCG industry.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and route optimization software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Power BI).
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of freight and shipping practices, including LTL, FTL, and intermodal transportation.
- May require occasional travel to bottling plants, distribution centers, and carrier facilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Coke Florida is looking for a Transportation Planner based out of our Tampa Headquarters. We’re currently looking for first shift working Monday through Friday working normal business hours.
What You Will Do:
The Bottler Transportation Planner plays a critical role in coordinating and optimizing the transportation of bottled goods from production facilities to distribution centers, warehouses, and retailers. This position ensures that transportation processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives, while meeting strict timelines and quality standards.
