      Role summary: Lead transportation procurement operations, managing carrier contracts and processes to ensure efficient delivery while optimizing costs.


      Key job responsibilities
      - Develop and manage cost-effective transportation contracts;
      - Build/maintain relationships with 3P carriers;
      - Evaluate contracts and conduct performance audits;
      - Perform cost analysis and establish improvement benchmarks;
      - Implement risk management procedures;
      - Collaborate with legal for contract reviews;
      - Drive supplier relationships and negotiations;
      - Ensure compliance with company spending policies;
      - Lead procurement metrics and improvement initiatives;
      - Track KPIs and develop action plans for savings goals;
      - Python and SQL heavy user.- Drive appropriate relationships with category suppliers, with a principal objective of achieving the optimal solution and cost of ownership that meets the business’ goals supported by a culture of continuous improvement with performance benchmarks in use.
      - Manage category suppliers to proactively identify, monitor and optimize opportunities.
      - Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities and keep key stakeholders informed.
      - Drive category suppliers in Supplier Relationship Management activities to mitigate risk, improve performance and add value to Amazon.
      - Identify, achieve and report on savings and value targets for category sourcing activities.
      - Align with internal customers and understand the business application of the category.
      - Analyze data and find patterns to optimize Amazon Costs;- Experience in program or project management;
      - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams;
      - Bachelor's degree;
      - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL;
      - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements;
      - Advanced English Level.- Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages (R, SQL);
      - Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau);
      - Strong background in data analysis and statistical modeling;
      - Knowledge of machine learning concepts for demand forecasting;
      - Ability to create automated reporting solutions.
