      This position is for ATEC Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of Armada. Founded in 1989 and based in Maitland, Florida, ATEC (www.atecsystems.com) is a logistics provider with expertise in the areas of global ocean shipping, export documentation, and order management services.

      SUMMARY:

      This position serves as a liaison between internal departments and domestic transportation vendors, overseeing carrier and facility procurement to ensure seamless logistics operations. The role is responsible for quoting projects, including managing annual RFQs, and facilitating the domestic leg of the supply chain in support of international logistics services. Operating as a full-service brokerage, responsibilities include scheduling, tendering, tracking, and tracing shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Collaboration with customer service, accounting, and ocean logistics teams is essential, as is a strong focus on attention to detail, effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Prepare and issue accurate carrier rate confirmations.
      • Maintain and update system records for negotiated billable and payable rates.
      • Manage and reconcile accessorial charges to ensure accurate invoicing.
      • Support the implementation of annual transportation bids, including:
        • Developing and managing the project schedule.
        • Uploading and validating lane data.
        • Conducting round analysis and performance comparisons.
        • Reviewing and incorporating historical data.
      • Assist in resolving vendor billing discrepancies and disputes.
      • Schedule freight in alignment with ocean sailing timelines and cutoffs.
      • Identify and execute opportunities to optimize supply chain cost and operational efficiency.
      • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
      • Generate and deliver customer-facing reports; support ongoing relationship management.
      • Coordinate across multiple transportation modes, including FTL, LTL, intermodal, and warehousing services.
      • Provide availability for after-hours, night, and weekend operations as needed.

      QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience Requirements

      Minimum Experience (Preferred):
      • 1-5 years of experience in customer service or transportation operations experience preferred
      • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
      • Truck Brokerage experience preferred.

      Language and Technical Skills Requirements
      • General understanding of business and logistics terms and concepts.
      • DOT Regulations
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required
      • Analytical and problem-solving ability
      • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with internal/external clients
