Support the Transportation Manager in all areas of daily operations including driver, route, and asset management

Schedule drivers and manage on-call staffing to meet business needs

Recommend staffing changes or adjustments based on workload demands

Participate in hiring and onboarding new drivers and team members

Promote and model PCF values through day-to-day leadership

Foster a culture of safety and accountability across the department

Prepare and maintain key reporting on department performance, including on-time delivery, MPG, productivity, and safety
-
Support department and company KPIs by using data to drive decisions and improvements
-
Attend and contribute to team meetings, safety trainings, and performance reviews
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least 3 years of transportation or logistics experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Class A CDL preferred

Proven ability to lead, coach, and build trust with a diverse team

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
A team-first mindset with the ability to balance daily operations with long-term strategy

Comfort with data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting to drive process improvements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ability to quickly learn logistics and routing software
