      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Abstract data and input supporting registry concurrency
      - Input information on identified hospital course variables and discharge variables into the database
      - Assist in the management of daily operations of the trauma registry
      - Prepare statistical reports to support Trauma Program Operations
      - Monitor compliance with Trauma Service standards of Patient Care

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school graduate or equivalent
      - 1-2 years’ experience in abstracting data from medical records
      - Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
      - Strong typing and computer skills
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in data collection using ICD-10 clinical manager codes
      - Certified Trauma Registrar preferred
