Job Title: Automation Maintenance Technician - AWS Schedule
$45hr and $1,050 a week in per diem
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines. The ideal candidate will manage automation machine tool electrical maintenance and work on various CNC equipment, including CNC mills (vertical and horizontal), CNC machining centers, and robotics. Responsibilities include working with over 35 OEM machine brands and handling equipment such as P&H cranes/hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools. You will repair CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from brands like Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon. Key tasks involve troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems. Connecting a laptop to machines for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues is essential. The maintenance team uses an MMS system for generating work orders, and you will log all maintenance performed using a company-provided computer/tablet. Prioritizing machinery repairs based on the value stream of the equipment is crucial.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing facility with a machine shop production environment, characterized by heavy industrial work. The AWS schedule involves working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with shifts alternating between days (7:30am - 7:30pm) and nights (7:30pm - 7:30am). During the initial 2-4 weeks, candidates can expect to work 40 hours a week on days for training before moving to their assigned shift. Flexibility to work both shifts is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
