Job Description

- Answers questions regarding travel policies and procedures. Provides travel and expense software help desk assistance to university departments, employees, students, and guests. Assists and supports university travelers in booking travel arrangements. Facilitates open communication across multiple methods with travelers, departments, and outside vendors, including the State Travel Office. Resolves travel issues and problems in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reviews, organizes, and audits submitted travel expense reports in travel and expense software. Ensures timely processing of travel expense reports and reimbursements. Troubleshoots expense report issues with other travel program staff and university departments, employees, students, and guests.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and record keeping processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of monies control and security.
- Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Skills with office equipment, computers, and computer software.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to meet and work with the public in a professional manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse group and individuals.

Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from accredited institution with an associate's degree in business, accounting, or closely related field and one year of experience related to the summary of duties; or any combination of related education and/or experience as described above totaling more than two years.
