What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide travel consultation for corporate employees, managing bookings and itineraries
- Monitor GDS queues for schedule changes and cancellations, ensuring effective communication
- Coordinate college recruiting and meeting arrangements, including ticket issuance
- Research air fares, hotel rates, and maintain knowledge of corporate travel policies
- Proactively seek insights into travel technology innovations and operational efficiencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Travel Management Company operations and SABRE Global Distribution System
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in stressful situations
- Experience with Ghost cards, UATP cards, and hotel direct billing & reconciliation
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing VIP service
- Ability to travel occasionally (approximately 5-10% annually) for corporate events
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior work experience as a travel coordinator for an insurance company or financial institution
- Familiarity with multiple Online Booking Tools
- Prior experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
