  TotalMed Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab Manager for a travel nursing job in Webster, Texas.

  UTMB Clear Lake Campus – Nurse Manager (Cath/EP)
  Location: Webster, TX
  Start Date: ASAP
  Contract Length: 13 weeks
  Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (and as needed)
  Weekends/Holidays: As needed
  Float: As needed
  On-Call: To be discussed with manager
  Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week (no guaranteed hours during the first 2 weeks)

  Requirements:

  • Active TX or Compact RN License
  • AHA BLS
  • Certification in nursing specialty or administration
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in a leadership role (Charge RN, Supervisor, Nurse Manager, etc.)
  • Cath Lab and EP experience required

  Job Summary:
  The Nurse Manager oversees the 24-hour operations of the Cath/EP Lab, including clinical, staffing, budgeting, quality, and equipment management. Must be proficient in:

  • EP and Cath procedures and equipment
  • Epic Cupid, Philips XIMS, GE Combo Lab
  • Budgeting, hiring/separating, and administrative operations

  Unit Equipment Includes:

  • Mechanical ventilators
  • Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)
  • Impella devices
  • EP ablation systems
  • Implantable devices

  Additional Information:

  • Initial training at UTMB Galveston, followed by assignment at Clear Lake Campus
  • Must complete unit-specific leadership training after Epic and HCSS orientation
  • May be required to take call or work extended shifts based on department needs
  • Position includes radiation exposure (lead apron required) and potential contact with infectious diseases or hazardous materials
  • Strong sensory and communication skills required to perform technical and verbal tasks accurately
