      HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Amarillo, Texas.

      RN – Operating Room (CVOR)

      Client: Universal Health Services, Inc.
      Location: Northwest Texas Healthcare System, 1501 Coulter Street, Amarillo, TX 79106
      Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week), Day Shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM + Call)

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Provide safe, competent nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
      • Assist in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries (e.g., CABG, valve replacements, AAA repairs).
      • Demonstrate proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating roles.
      • Adhere to facility policies, standards, and patient-centered care principles.
      • Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EHR.

      Requirements:

      • Licensure: Active RN license in Texas (required).
      • Education: Graduate of accredited/NLN-approved RN program (BSN preferred).
      • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required).
      • Experience:
        • 3+ years CVOR experience (required).
        • 1+ year OR experience (scrub & circulate) considered.
      • Travel Restriction: Must reside 100+ miles away from facility.
