      The Judge Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Monroe, Michigan.

      Position Overview

      • Role: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
      • Facility: Obstetrics Unit, 8070-80700-4350-620110
      • Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
      • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (Friday–Sunday)
      • Block Scheduling: Not available

      Responsibilities

      • Scrub and circulate for C-sections and operative vaginal births
      • Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
      • Stabilize neonates for transfer to Toledo
      • Administer magnesium sulfate therapy and monitor fetal heart patterns
      • Provide newborn care including resuscitation, phototherapy, and discharge education

      Requirements

      • Experience:
        • 2+ years in Labor & Delivery
        • Travel experience required
        • Experience in facilities with >300 births/month preferred
      • Certifications:
        • ACLS, BLS, NRP
        • AWHONN Advanced/Intermediate (preferred)
        • Advanced EFM (within last 2 years preferred)
      • Licensure: Active Michigan RN license
      • Charting System: Epic (required)
      • Vaccination:
        • COVID-19: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
        • Flu: Required (exemptions allowed)

      Unit & Facility Highlights

      • Unit Size: 17 rooms, 17 beds
      • Patient Age Groups: Neonates to geriatrics
      • Support Services: Radiology, pharmacy, respiratory, social services, rapid response, interpretation
      • Special Care Nursery: Stabilize and transfer out
      • Staffing Ratios (AWHONN guidelines):
        • 1:1 for laboring patients
        • 1:3 for couplet and mother/baby
      • Scrubs: Provided (green)
