Contract Length: 90 days (~13 weeks)
- Provide life-sustaining care to premature and critically ill newborns
- Administer medications and nutritional support
- Monitor vital signs and breathing, especially in underdeveloped lungs
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice nurses to develop and implement treatment plans
- Communicate care plans and updates clearly with the infant's family
- Minimum Experience Required: 3 years of recent NICU nursing
- NICU Level: Must have experience in Level III or Level IV NICU
- Care Setting: Acute – specialized neonatal intensive care
- Active Hawaii RN License (must be current at start)
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- NRP (AHA/AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program – Advanced Provider level)
