- Prepare OR suites with appropriate instrumentation and equipment
- Monitor patients during procedures and recovery
- Collaborate with surgical teams including surgeons and anesthesiologists
- Charting: Epic EMR (required)
- Floating: May float to similar perioperative units as needed
- Active RN license (Compact or NC state; no pending licenses accepted)
- 2+ years of recent OR experience (main OR and/or short-stay surgery)
- Epic proficiency (required)
- Certifications: BLS (ACLS preferred)
- Experience in trauma surgery
- CNOR certification
- Experience with multiple surgical specialties

This position provides perioperative nursing care in a Level III Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital with 733 staffed beds. The RN will work in both main OR and short-stay surgery settings, caring for adult patients across various surgical specialties.
