      HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Randallstown, Maryland.

      Job Description & Requirements

      • Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

      • Duration: 13 weeks
      • 36 hours per week
      • Shift: 12 hours, days
      • Employment Type: Travel

      Position: PCU/Telemetry RN – Cardiac Monitoring
      Experience:

      • Minimum 2 years of experience required
      • First-time travelers accepted

      Note: Local Candidates Accepted at same rate.

      Certifications Required:

      • BLS
      • ACLS
      • NIHSS

      Shift & Schedule:

      • Every other weekend required
      • No on-call required
      • Navy blue scrubs

      Patient Ratios:

      • Typically 1:4, may go up to 1:5 depending on acuity and downgrades
      • If floated to a non-tele Med/Surg unit: ratio may be 1:6

      Floating: Required within specialty and to lower acuity units as needed

      Required Skills:

      • Cardiac Telemetry
      • Med/Surg Telemetry
      • Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias
      • On-unit telemetry monitoring
      • Use of Rapid Response Teams
      • IV insulin protocols
      • Blood product administration
      • Central/PICC/peripheral line care & management
      • Heparin protocols
      • Non-titratable cardiac drips (e.g., Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Lasix)
      • Stroke & CVA care
      • Chest tubes (Emerson/Pleuravac)
      • External CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks
      • Non-invasive airway management
      • ABG interpretation

      Special Procedures/Unit Details:

      • Peritoneal Dialysis
      • RN to interpret & document telemetry rhythms
      • Heparin drip per nursing protocol
      • Code Team responders (recorders & timekeepers)
      • Stroke-certified unit
      • Admissions from: NWH ED, Grace Medical Center, and non-tele units

      Weekly Pay Package: Weekly Gross: $2120/36hrs

      • Hourly on W2: $ 20
      • Hourly on Stipends: $ 38.89
      • Weekly Taxable: $720
      • Weekly Non-Taxable: $1400
