- Navy blue scrubs
- Typically 1:4, may go up to 1:5 depending on acuity and downgrades
- If floated to a non-tele Med/Surg unit: ratio may be 1:6
- Cardiac Telemetry
- Med/Surg Telemetry
- Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias
- On-unit telemetry monitoring
- Use of Rapid Response Teams
- IV insulin protocols
- Blood product administration
- Central/PICC/peripheral line care & management
- Heparin protocols
- Non-titratable cardiac drips (e.g., Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Lasix)
- Stroke & CVA care
- Chest tubes (Emerson/Pleuravac)
- External CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks
- Non-invasive airway management
- ABG interpretation
- Peritoneal Dialysis
- RN to interpret & document telemetry rhythms
- Heparin drip per nursing protocol
- Code Team responders (recorders & timekeepers)
- Stroke-certified unit
- Admissions from: NWH ED, Grace Medical Center, and non-tele units
- Hourly on W2: $ 20
- Hourly on Stipends: $ 38.89
- Weekly Taxable: $720
- Weekly Non-Taxable: $1400
