      Registered Nurse (RN) - Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

      An Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse assists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, working with advanced technology to map and ablate abnormal heart rhythms.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Prepare and monitor patients undergoing EP studies, ablations, or device implants.
      • Operate specialized equipment and maintain sterile technique during procedures.
      • Administer conscious sedation and closely monitor cardiac rhythms.
      • Educate patients about procedure expectations, outcomes, and follow-up care.
      • Document procedural data accurately and relay critical findings to the care team.

      Work Environment:

      • Primarily in specialized electrophysiology labs within hospitals.
      • Requires knowledge of complex cardiac devices and ECG interpretation.
      • Close collaboration with electrophysiologists and cardiac techs.
