As a Travel Sales and Support Agent, you'll have the opportunity to sell our products, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the success of our Consumer Sales Department. Responsibilities:
- Take inbound calls from Travel Advisors and direct guests, assisting them with booking cruise vacations and enhancing their experience.
- Communicate effectively with guests, Travel Advisors, and internal colleagues to handle cruise vacation reservations and provide excellent customer service.
- Utilize multiple systems and resources to create and service bookings, answer questions, and troubleshoot issues.
- Meet monthly individual Key Performance Indicators for sales and customer satisfaction.
- Attend daily team meetings and sales trainings to stay up-to-date on sales techniques and provide accurate information to customers.
- Maintain professionalism, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities to meet the needs of Travel Advisors and guests.
- Provide support to team members in their absence and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with legal and legislative regulations related to the job.
- Assist with special projects and other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 year of sales and customer service experience.
- Experience in a high-volume call center is preferred.
- Knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Proficiency in computer applications and reservations systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Logical thinker and willingness to learn.
Additional Information:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- This position is 100% remote, but not available in certain states.
- Bonuses and incentives available based on performance.
- Training will be provided remotely and will last approximately 5 weeks.
- Work schedules will include at least 1 weekend work day per week, between 6AM and 7PM PST.
- High-speed internet and a hard-wired computer connection are required for remote work.
