      Travel Schedule:

      10 days at Remote Site; will be home every other weekend.

      Top Skills Required:

      · Installations, repairs, troubleshooting of industrial equipment, CNC machine maintenance.

      · Electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics, CNC machines

      Traveling Field Service Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

      · Preventative maintenance; includes but is not limited to: observing devises, locate root cause of problem; dismantling devices, examining parts to detect imperfections, adjustment of functional parts, repair and/or replacement of defective parts, testing to observe performance; and testing electrical circuitry and mechanical systems.

      • Identifies parts, supplies and repair items necessary
      • Works and communicates with client’s counterparts to optimize maintenance, reliability, and preventative maintenance procedures
      • Setup and operate multiple machining operations; lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools.
      • Maintains documentation on work performed, applicable management systems, and written explanation on observation and performance data on equipment
      • Assists and leads lower level technicians as needed
      • Troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve in-depth software/ hardware and configuration problems
      • Utilizes advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data. Observes trends and makes recommendations
      • Follows and complies with client’s codes of conduct, housekeeping standards, safety processes and policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, including situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.

        Traveling Field Service Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

      • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
      • Associates degree with a Technical focus plus 3 years of related experience or 7 years of experience in a specific industry
      • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems
      • Ability to analyze a problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs needed
      • Must be able to use basic hand and specialized tools
      • Extensive travel required (Local, National, International)
      • Experience in condition based maintenance techniques, precision mechanical alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment
      • Knowledge and experience with PLC, field device troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical drive and motor systems
      • Must pass safety training course
      • Must pass screenings
      • Valid Driver’s License

        Location: Midwest, South East, South West regions of United States

        Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

      • Stand, walk, climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift and work in confined spaces
      • Occasionally required to sit
      • Must be able to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
      • Outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock
      • Must be able to work in a factory environment and is usually very loud
      • May be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors
