- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of medical assistants across various clinic locations
- Coordinate schedules, assign daily responsibilities, and monitor individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Schedule and assign duties to medical assistants, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, addressing any performance issues promptly and effectively.
- Administer disciplinary actions when necessary, following company policies and procedures to address performance and conduct issues.
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Oversee the accuracy of patient documentation, vitals, and procedural assistance.
Collaborate closely with providers and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care.
Manage front desk workflows, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling
Ensure that medical assistants adhere to clinical protocols, procedures, and standards of care
Monitor and maintain the quality of patient care by conducting regular audits and implementing improvements as needed.
Perform and assist with patient care , including but not limited to patient intake, vital signs, and assisting providers with procedures.
- Ensure that medical assistants adhere to clinical protocols, procedures, and standards of care.
- Assist with billing processes and electronic medical record (EMR) maintenance.
Implement standardized procedures across sites to ensure operational consistency.
Train and onboard new medical assistants in both clinical and administrative functions.
Implement training for new hires and ongoing education for existing staff.
Keep staff informed about changes in clinical practices, policies, and procedures
Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork.
Provide continuous training to keep staff current on protocols, regulations, and best practices.
Identify opportunities for staff development and recommend appropriate resources or training.
Monitor compliance with internal policies and external healthcare regulations.
Support audit readiness and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Identify areas for improvement and lead the implementation of corrective actions when needed.
Serve as the liaison between staff, providers, patients, and administrative leadership.
Address patient concerns professionally and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
Maintain clear and professional communication across departments and locations.
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program strongly preferred.
Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) is a plus.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant,
Prior experience in a multi-site or traveling healthcare role is highly desirable
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in EMR systems and Google Office Suite.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between clinic locations as required.
