Support the Treasury Controller and Senior Treasury Accountant in ensuring that day to day treasury transactions and activities are recorded timely and accurately, in the Treasury management system and reported appropriately.
Support group, statutory, management and regulatory reporting for the treasury entities. Ensure financial information is reconciled back to the Treasury Management System (TMS) and other supporting records.
Own the month-end generation of financial reports of funding and investing activities from the TMS and distribution of those reports to the various stakeholders.
Assist in the production of statutory financial statements for Treasury legal entities. Assist in the production and review of certain disclosures in the Group’s financial statements relating to financial investments and borrowings.
Ensure processes and controls around areas of responsibility are robust, clearly documented and appropriately followed. Ensures that control incidences and deficiencies are appropriately documented, reported and if required, escalated in a timely manner.
Own the Group’s intercompany netting process and ensures that statements are sent to all netting counterparties and issues resolved in a timely manner. Ensures that the Front Office (FO) and Cash are aware of the netting cycle well in advance of the payment date.
The jobholder will hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) 1-2 years PQE.
The jobholder should have relevant accounting experience, preferably not less than two years. Technical accounting within a Treasury environment is a distinct advantage.
Highly organised with ability to work to tight deadlines to meet competing priorities.
Prior experience with Treasury Management Systems is desirable.

As Treasury Accountant you'll play a vital role in supporting the Group with management and regulatory reporting as well as having ownership of financial reports for funding and investment. This is an important role that will gain you exposure to c-suite and access to some exciting projects.
