      Treasury Analyst

      Brighton Hybrid

      Permanent

      Full time 37.5 hours/week

      Sala ry u p to £ 55k DOE

      This is a key role in delivering and managing banking and cash management solutions with a key focus on streamlining and maintaining the end to end process, enhancing the customer journey and reducing costs. Working within the agreed policies whilst maintaining stringent controls and putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.The department has a large transformation/change agenda and this role will be instrumental in helping to deliver that change.

      How you’ll help us make health happen:

      • Daily Monitoring of all Treasury & Banking interfaces
      • Review bank charges to ensure most efficient use of banking services
      • Responsible for the gathering and documenting the As Is processes and costs
      • Working together with the various project teams, users and partners to identify solutions.
      • Document proposed solutions including risks, controls, and cost benefit.
      • Assist in new profiles or complex Electronic Bank Systems updates.
      • Responsible for the end to end testing and preproduction tests.
      • Assist in the design of test cases to ensure all scenarios fully tested and meet bank or/and internal/external partners requirements.
      • Manage end to end testing with Banks maintain schedules and documenting results circulating back to the project team Coordinate with all parties to ensure project testing status is fully understood along with all go live readiness tasks
      • Document all new processes and arrange any training required
      • Responsible for ensuring that processes and controls around the new process are robust, clearly documented and operating effectively to ensure that operational risks are minimised
      • Completion of daily cash position controls & funding analysis.
      • Electronic Banking Administration Help drive improvements in the daily cash process including improvements to monthly reporting on liquidity management
      • Help drive delivery of the department’s change agenda across the MU with particular focus on the banking services, daily operations and reporting processes

      Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

      • Strong analytical skills & communication skills both written and verbal.
      • The jobholder should hold or be working towards Treasury or Project qualifications (AMCT) (PRINCE) and/or holding or working towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

      Desirable experience:

      • In depth knowledge of international & domestic, payment & collection methods including ewallets.
      • XML ISO20022 working knowledge for payments/collections/bank statements - Bank secure connectivity H2H, APIs -
      • Electronic banking platforms
      • Credit Card Collections
      • Experience of treasury management systems selection & implementation
      • Good technical Treasury knowledge and ability combined with an ability to “find” relevant information and answers
      • Exposure to the delivery of financial and project status to management
      • A good grounding in treasury products and instruments
      • Strong understanding of cash management and payments
      • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
      • Strong Excel capability
