      Join us as a Treasury Analyst

      Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting for a Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury Services team. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in managing Asset, Liability and Liquidity functions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial health of our firm while collaborating with various teams to drive informed decision-making.

      Some of your key responsibilities include:

      Asset, Liability and Liquidity Management

      • Compile and monitor client cash projections throughout the day to assist in managing the firm’s liquidity position and to inform short-term investment decisions.

      • Analyze client cash activities and collaborate with client service teams to identify and understand trends in cash flows.

      • Maintain an awareness of the firm’s principal deposit exposure at all times and ensure that short term investments align with credit and risk policies.

      • Gather and assess client and market activity to inform management’s decisions on risk and balance sheet capacity.

      • Identify and address issues that require immediate attention, even if they are not clearly defined.

      • Track and report on the firm’s asset, liability, and liquidity metrics.

      Communication

      • Engage with bank counter parties to ensure the efficient and responsible management of liquidity investments.

      • Translate complex information from various audiences (e.g. cash correspondents, internal departments, etc.) for clear understanding.

      • Share insights and discussions with the team to ensure coordinated action steps and follow-ups.

      • Prepare comprehensive reports of cash balances, investment performance, principal cash exposures, and risk positions to support senior leadership in decision-making.

      • Collaborate closely with Investor Services and Operations to understand client cash movements and trends.

      • Promptly communicate any asset, liability, and liquidity needs or concerns to Treasury management.

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related discipline preferred.

      • 2+ years of relevant work experience.

      • Prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus.

      • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

      • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to diligence.

      • Basic understanding of accounting principles and asset/liability management.

      • Ability to meet deadlines while navigating ambiguity.

      • Collaborative and supportive approach to teamwork.

      • Comfort executing your responsibilities both in close collaboration with the rest of the team and independently.

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.

      • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.

      • A high level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

      Salary Range

      $75,000 - $85,000

      BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
