      J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management Finance and Business Management (“AWM F&BM”) has a new opening on the Treasury team based in Plano, TX. The Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Capital Management Team (CMT) is responsible for planning, forecasting and reporting of capital usage by AWM (under Basel and other regulatory frameworks) and supporting new business and capital efficiency initiatives. AWM CMT is also responsible for stress testing AWM business’ income earning potential and balance sheet positions in internally derived and regulatory prescribed scenarios (i.e., Risk Appetite, CCAR/DFAST) and other valuation deliverables (i.e., Goodwill, Recovery and Resolution).


      As a Treasury Associate within the Asset and Wealth Management Finance and Business Management team, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our robust balance sheet and ensuring our business remains resilient during challenging times. Your proficiency in capital and interest rate risk will be vital in assisting the business to achieve targeted Return on Equity (ROE) with minimal earnings volatility.

      Job responsibilities:

      • Forecast and report capital and balance sheet usage (under Basel and other regulatory frameworks)
      • Forecast business results under a variety of stress and baseline scenarios
      • Maintain, enhance and develop financial models in Excel and strategic platforms
      • Work with quantitative modeling teams on model design and implementation
      • Analyze financial data to describe key drivers of change in results, comparing multiple exercises
      • Partner with Corporate, Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A), Finance and Risk functions to timely meet deliverables submitted at the Firmwide level to regulators and used at the most senior levels in the organization to understand the business’ risk to adverse macroeconomic environments
      • Support the business on ad-hoc analytical projects

      Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • 2+ years working experience, in financial planning or accounting in the financial services industry
      • Thoroughness and attention to detail and high level of accuracy given contribution to regulatory submissions
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly strength in Excel and PowerPoint
      • Skills in communication, writing, organization, and time management

      Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

      • Interest in working with data sets, data mining, and analytics
      • Ability to manage multiple projects within concurrent deadlines
      • A desire to partner with diverse teams and work in a team environment to ensure business objectives are met
      • Developing knowledge of systems and technology; skills in Essbase, Tableau, and Alteryx would be beneficial
