      The Retirement Investments group is charged with the overall health, analysis, monitoring, and oversight of Intel's $30B+ of qualified and non-qualified retirement assets held within the Intel retirement plans, including the back-office operations for these plans. This team sits within Intel’s Treasury Department and is directly accountable to and responsible for providing recommendations to the Company’s Investment Policy Committee (IPC), which provides fiduciary retirement plan oversight for qualified plans.

      The Treasury Director, Retirement Investments position is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of all areas relating to retirement asset management, including: investment management and oversight over all sub-asset classes (public equity, fixed income, real assets, and alternative investments); asset allocation; investment policy; asset manager evaluation; performance measurement; liability management; and directing the team in the completion of innovative investment projects requiring knowledge of investment management principles, methods, and techniques in portfolio construction and management.

      The Retirement Investments team manages the selection, relationships, and monitoring of a broad selection of external vendors and service providers including investment managers/consultants and advisors, trustees, asset custodians, and outside legal counsel. Effective compliance requires ongoing benchmarking for best-in-class capabilities and cost. In order to manage and negotiate with investment managers, a deep understanding of the investment manager marketplace is required. The Director is also responsible for governance oversight and maintaining operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ERISA, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.

      The Director is expected to demonstrate continuous learning and maintain a highly skilled and engaged team by aligning resources and goals with business objectives; overseeing the recruitment, selection, and development of talent; preparing individuals for growth opportunities and advancement; and staying current with industry trends, benchmarks, peer companies/plan sponsors and best practices. Additionally, the job involves close collaboration and partnership with multiple stakeholders including Human Resources, Legal, Tax, and Accounting to ensure strategic alignment on employee and stakeholder communications, regulatory compliance, and accurate financial reporting.

      Qualifications:

      You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Math, Statistics or related

      • 10+ years of relevant finance and/or retirement plan investment experience

      • Experience managing large, complex DC and DB plans

      • Experience managing a broad portfolio of external vendors including investment consultants and advisors, investment managers, trustees and asset custodians

      • Experience with governance oversight and maintaining operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ERISA, SEC, and other regulatory requirements

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • MBA, CFA or equivalent Finance, Investment or Treasury qualification

      • Experience overseeing all asset classes, including alternative investments such as private equity

      • Experience managing retirement arrangements outside of the U.S.

      Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

      US, California:$175,820.00-$281,240.00

      S al ary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

      Work Model for this Role

      This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
