Join our team at Burrell Behavioral Health as a DMH Contracted Treatment Family Home Provider in the Kansas City, Missouri area!

      A Treatment Family Home Provider delivers care and support to individuals with emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges in your home. You will also identify clients in need of added support in the community while they stay in your home where they will receive a safe, nurturing environment and work with treatment teams to implement personalized care plans, promoting stability, growth, and independence in not only your home but their personal home as well.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Create a safe, stable, and nurturing home setting.
      • Work with treatment teams to develop and execute personalized care plans.
      • Offer counseling, mentoring, and coaching to promote emotional growth.
      • Assist with meals, hygiene, and other daily tasks as needed.
      • Monitor and manage medication regimens and medical treatments.
      • Work with treatment teams, social workers, and other stakeholders.
      • Develop and implement crisis intervention plans and ensure a safe living environment.
      • Maintain accurate records of patient progress, incidents, and concerns.

      Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

      • A high school diploma or equivalent certificate is required.
      • A Bachelor’s Degree in a closely related field is highly preferred.
      • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.

      Additional Qualifications:

      • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
      • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
