- Monday- Friday 9am - 5:30pm
- Columbus, OH
- Conduct telephone triage for patient health complaints using an electronic triage assessment tool (Schmitt-Thompson)
- Navigate multiple electronic platforms to assess current health complaint, patients’ electronic chart, PCP appointment scheduling, and ancillary center scheduling have appropriate and timely documentation
- Document phone call details in tracking system for department data tracking and collection.
- Assess, identify, and close patient care gaps.
- Follow and execute all policies, procedures, and job responsibilities instructed by direct supervisor.
- Develop positive and effective working relationship with COPC staff, offices, and physicians.
- Active and unrestricted registered nurse license in the state of Ohio.
- Two years minimum Registered Nurse experience in a hospital and/or medical practice setting
- Experience in telephonic nursing triage, preferred but not required.
- Exceptional active listening, communication, and documentation skills, required.
- Excellent customer service skills, and mind-set, required.
- Ability to collaborate with a team, required.
- Ability to adapt to department growth, expansion, and policies/ procedures, required.
- Experience in pediatrics required.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, such as Excel, required.
- Proficient knowledge of electronic health records, required.
