      Job Description:

      Triage Supervisor

      The Triage Supervisor leads a team of triage specialists that support a federal agency by receiving, reviewing, and funneling incident reports to the appropriate point(s) of contact. The Triage team works alongside federal staff to ensure inbox coverage 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays. In addition to supporting triage activities, the supervisor leads the team, tracks progress toward deliverables, and coordinates the team schedule with federal staff.

      Essential duties include:

      1. Triage Team Oversight:

      • Monitor team performance to ensure deadline compliance and quality of deliverables.

      • Provide updates and guidance to triage team regarding policies and procedures.

      • Provide training for new team members on program and triage policies and procedures.

      • Coordinate team schedule, ensuring coverage during all shifts (365 days a year, including holidays and weekends).

      • Ensure team enters data correctly; conduct regular quality assurance activities to maintain data accuracy.

      • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.

      • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for team functions.

      • Assume responsibilities of triage specialist to provide staff coverage or in other circumstances when needed.

      2. Staff Supervision:

      • Supervise a team of Triage Specialists; monitor staff performance, provide coaching and mentorship as needed.

      • Hold regular team meetings and individual check-ins with staff to track challenges and to provide timely feedback.

      • Track employee attendance, timesheet completion, and reporting compliance.

      3. Triage Team Reporting:

      • Analyze data collected by triage team.

      • Provide reports, quality and efficiency improvement plans, recommendations, and findings to GDIT/federal leadership on a regular basis.

      4. Other Duties:

      • Serve as primary point of contact for Triage Team in response to requests for information from a variety of stakeholders.

      • Coordinate GDIT reporting activities on behalf of Triage Team.

      • Support the PMO with recruitment activities for vacancies on Triage Team.

      • Other duties as assigned.

      This position requires a Public Trust clearance.

      This position is 100% remote.

      Qualifications:

      • BA/BS degree in a related discipline; master’s degree preferred.

      • 6+ years of related experience.

      • At least 2 years of experience providing staff supervision or leadership, preferably in a case management, child welfare, or social work setting.

      • Experience creating, monitoring, and adjusting a rotating staff schedule to include coverage 365 days a year.

      • Experience in case management, child welfare, or social work required.

      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

      • Experience leading a new team or overseeing a new project preferred.

      • Experience with Microsoft Excel and performing basic data analysis preferred.

      The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
