      Treatment Resistant Mood Disorder Technician


      Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
      $20.79 - $30.02 an hour - Per Diem, Days. Various hours a week.
      *Includes Per Diem Differential.

      Boulder Community Health is seeking a Treatment Resistant Mood Disorder Technician to administer TMS treatment using TMS equipment and monitor equipment for proper functioning. The TRMD Technician also participates in pre and post procedure care of ECT and Ketamine patients under the direction of the ECT RN.

      Qualifications:
      •Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, but candidates with a minimum of one year of patient care or Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) experience will be strongly considered.
      •CNA, EMT, MA, Military Medic certifications or completion of 1st year of nursing core classes is also preferred, but not required.
      •Successful completion of TMS Certification (training and certification provided during initial period of employment) is required.
      •BLS Certification required within conditional period.
      •Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression preferred.

      Responsibilities:
      •Administer TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols.
      •Initiate TMS equipment and monitor to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
      •Monitor patients for comfort, safety, and treatment accuracy.
      •Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport.
      •Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety.
      •Recognize and manage a seizure per the competency, Seizure Response during TMS
      •Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment.
      •Administer psychiatric rating scales and identify TMS-related needs prior to treatment
      •Document session notes in EHR, collaborate with physician(s) as required.
      •Schedule patient visits.
