Job Title: Truck Upfitting Mechanic

$32/hr

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of new equipment on vocational, refuse, and service trucks
• Perform preventive maintenance on lift kits, snow plows, trucks, and roll-off dumpsters
• Work extensively with hydraulics for snow plows and roll-off dumpsters
• Wire trucks and run controls into cabs
• Conduct body swaps and wheelbase adjustments
• Perform custom fabrication and welding as needed
• Carry out electrical work up to 12 volts

Essential Skills

• 2-5 years' experience as a mechanic on larger equipment/trucks
• Experience in hydraulic repair and maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair brakes, diesel engines, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in welding and custom fabrication
• Must own basic hand tools

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
