Trade and Transaction Reporting Operations (TTRO) Regulatory Reporting Analyst
GlasgowAs a Barclays TTRO Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will be joining the Trade and Transaction Reporting Operations (TTRO) team, supporting the control functions for Trade and Transaction reporting, focusing on EMEA regulations. You will be liaising within TTRO, Compliance, Technology, Global Markets Operations and the business. Analysing large data sets to understand root causes and to work with colleagues to risk assess the issues.

• Working on trade and transaction reporting analysis and remediation, which requires root cause analysis, clear articulation of the issues into a JIRA and tracking through to remediation
• Working on trade and transaction operations control activities including: data reconciliation, initial break investigation, exception management, query monitoring and resolution
• Performing complex analysis on the volumes and process flow to identify the root cause if non-compliance and or issues are encountered
• Fostering excellent working relationship with internal counterparts (extended teams in other Global Locations, IT, Desk, Sales team, Trade Support, Confirmations, Legal)
• Challenging processes in accordance with the Lean methodology in order to achieve more effective processes and efficiency saves to the firm.
• Working in collaboration with the global TTRO teams to achieve business expectations
• Ensuring the team collaborates with their global colleagues in order to remove regional silosWhat we’re looking for:
• Good grasp of EMEA regulations, aptitude and desire to learn EMEA regulations, including understanding of Exchange Traded and Over-the-Counter Derivatives
• Excellent understanding of front to back system architecture and E2E processes and controls.
• Desire to challenge and to support continuous improvement, rather than accepting the status quo.Skills that will help you in the role:
• Excellent analytical skills, exposure to data mining and articulating the problem statement
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, including and not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to network and build rapport and credibility quickly with a variety of key stakeholders (FO, Ops Senior Management, IT)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complicated issues to senior management and other impacted areasWhere will you be working?
