      The Cross Border Payments business is part of Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) division. WorldLink and CBFT are TTS cross border payments solutions that leverage Citi’s proprietary network to help clients to process their cross-border payments across more than 190 markets in 145 currencies through different payment methods and channels.

      With the payments landscape constantly evolving and providing greater optionality to clients from all segments and industries, WorldLink and CBFT maintain a leading position in the industry providing globally consistent solutions in a space that is historically nuanced and complicated across markets.

      As a member of the North America Cross Border Payments Team , you will explore complex client needs, design end to end solutions, commercialize existing capabilities and create value for Citi’s diverse client base. You will play an active role collaborating with other cross functional areas of the organization like Technology, Operations, Service, Product Development, and Markets to lead client discussions, bring solutions to life and continue to grow a key business for Citi.

      Key Responsibilities. In this role you’ll be responsible for:

      • Develop and execute a strategy for growing the TTS North America P&L for Cross Border.
      • Responsible for meeting P&L and new business targets.
      • Close coordination with sales and RFP team to coordinate RFP responses.
      • Pipeline management: Leading client discovery, solutioning, onboarding, integration activities, and senior management reporting.
      • Leading discussions with prospective clients, serving as the internal and external expert.
      • Communicating client feedback to shape product strategy and influence the roadmap.

      You will be a pivotal player in the Cross Border Payments business growth strategy. FX and global payments are critical drivers of TTS growth agenda for the global and regional P&R business. Cross Border Payments product manager will be directly responsible for accelerating growth of the regional FX payments (incoming and outgoing) P&L through a full range of activities and across all segments (Commercial Bank, Public Sector, Financial Institutions and Corporates):

      • Prospecting of clients that do not use the Cross Border Payments solution suite,
      • Mining the existing portfolio of clients to uncover new opportunities,
      • Stablishing a pipeline governance framework and proper tracking of existing revenue

      The Cross Border Payments product manager will be part of a larger global and regional team that develops business across regions and to which you will be interacting permanently with. You will have exposure to the regional and global leadership team.

      This is a role for someone who wants to work in a dynamic team with an evolving product set and directly drive growth of a key strategic solution for Citi’s TTS division.       Qualifications:

      • 10+ years of relevant experience in the payments or FX industry with understanding of the global payments landscape.
      • Deep understanding of the business drivers and players in the cross-border payments industry.
      • Good understanding of the use of FX through treasury services type solutions.
      • Strong understanding of payments ecosystem.
      • Sales or client management experience is appreciated.
      • Bachelor’s/University degree.
      • Exceptional organization, superior interpretive and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent team working and interpersonal skills to influence and build consensus.
      • Ability to operate in a complex matrix environment.
      • Articulate written and verbal communication skills.
      • Propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content
      • Proven track record of success in sales, commercialization, and complex client solutioning

      Skills

      • Strong knowledge of transaction banking, cross-border payments, and connectivity channels
      • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners: sales, global product management, market management, client service, technology, bankers, others.
      • Product oriented sales experience and acumen
      • Able to work under direct portfolio growth targets and develop clear sales and marketing strategies
      • Extreme attention to detail and interest in operating in fast-paced environment
