- Setup and operate tube laser cutting machine to perform precise cutting operations on various materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections of finished products using hand instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to ensure they meet specifications.
- Program and adjust laser settings to accommodate different materials and thicknesses, remedying any issues such as slag, burn-through, or burrs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
- Previous experience operating tube laser cutting machinery.
- Proficiency in using hand instruments for quality inspections.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, industrial welding shop with hours from Monday through Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, with half days on Fridays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, North Dakota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
