Job Description

- Serve food and beverages to golfers from the Turn house and during private special events.
- Prepare food products for sale and sell pre-packaged foods.
- Prep and cook food ordered by golfers (i.e. burgers, hot dogs, taco plates, burritos, etc.)
- Stock all necessary items in the Turn house.
- Maintain and ensure cleanliness of Turn house area.
- Keep all products organized and stocked.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
- Manage all payments.
- Must always be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees.
- Complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according to established side work.
- Assist fellow employees as needed throughout the shift.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work practices to management; complete safety training and certifications.
- Other duties as assigned or as required to ensure that the Members have a positive and above satisfactory dining experience.

The Promontory Club is looking to fill a vacancy for a Turn House Attendant - Full time Summer Seasonal - The Hills.
The summer season will range from mid-May through the mid-October . This position will have the ability for top performers to continue their employment with Promontory after the summer season and become full-time, permanent employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within two weeks of employment; must have a valid alcohol server training certification recognized by the Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (UDABC); must be at least 21 years of age.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One (1) year of previous experience preferred; previous experience working with a P.O.S. system (Northstar) is preferred; must have good written and verbal communication skills; must have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time; ability to lift 15lbs frequently and the ability to lift 50lbs occasionally; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends when needed; must be willing to work in any F&B outlet at Promontory when required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Wages start at $18.00/hr + tips and will be determined upon employment and will be commensurate with experience.
