What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the data lead for the division and a data liaison across departments
- Collect, query, analyze, and summarize data findings in reports
- Develop maps, graphs, and tools to visualize data from the division and state water plan
- Identify needs and develop data products or enhancements to existing applications
- Implement quality control procedures and monitor data quality assurance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Four years of experience in data research, analysis, and reporting
- Relevant education and experience can be substituted on a year-for-year basis
- Familiarity with water resources of Texas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, GIS, Power BI, and Google Analytics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in related field
- Experience with water conservation and alternative water supplies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, SQL Server, ArcGIS applications, Power BI, and Google Analytics
