      Job title: Typhoon Contract Instructor Pilot (Synthetic)

      Location: RAF Lossiemouth

      Salary: £92,967

      What you’ll be doing:

      · Performing the duties required as a Typhoon CIP Synthetic, providing professional aircrew academic and synthetic instruction to Front-Line syllabus training and other authorized events. Dependent upon experience, this may include Annual Handling Checks (day & night), Instrument Rating Tests, academic and synthetic elements of CRWU, IPUG, PLUG syllabi and QWI-dependent currency checks

      · Providing simulator based emergency handling and aircraft systems training to Front Line Typhoon pilots

      · Maintaining the instructional standards required of a Typhoon instructor in the roles listed above

      · The provision of high quality training support, to include role playing (GCI/JTAC/Red Air), operating of synthetic devices and any other activity required under the TyTAN contract to support Typhoon Pilot Training

      · The accurate, objective and well-reasoned subjective assessments of student performance, the production of written reports and the delivery of remedial exercises according to student needs

      · The provision of high quality ground school training in accordance with the GFx provided syllabi, acting as SME for technical systems as allocated by the TTF ATM and maintenance of relevant lecture material iaw with DSAT requirements.

      Your skills and experiences:

      · Experienced Typhoon Pilot & Instructor

      · Former RAF Typhoon QWI/QFI/4 Lead IP

      · Understanding of Customer synthetic training needs and utilisation of synthetic training requirements

      · Understanding of Typhoon operations and weapons systems

      · Maintaining currency and knowledge of RAF Typhoon Force and Squadron SOPs and Front Line Typhoon tactics and doctrines

      · Understanding of the RAF Flight Safety system

      The TTF (Typhoon Training Facility) North team:

      The team TTF North team is made up of 10, likewise experienced instructors, who have the same thirst for promoting best practice and delivering training.

      The aim is to deliver aircrew academic and synthetic instruction in all Front-Line Typhoon phases of training and other ATM authorized events. To carry out other key enabling activities at the Typhoon Training Facility in support of the TyTAN contract.
