- Provision, modify, and de-provision user accounts, security groups, and permissions across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure), and related environments.
- Administer identity lifecycle processes (onboarding, role changes, offboarding) for employees, partners, and external customers.
- Follow established Access Control Management (ACM) best practices to ensure proper assignment of permissions and entitlements.
- Create, maintain, and enhance documentation for UAP processes, workflows, and standards.
- Collaborate with IT operations, security, and compliance teams to ensure UAP activities align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in audits by providing data and evidence related to access management controls.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve identity governance, reduce risk, and automate manual provisioning workflows.
- Participate in IAM-related projects, tool upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand challenges and pain points in access-related workflows and translate those into improved processes.
- Take ownership in drafting and formalizing policies and procedures (P&Ps) for identity and access management to support standardization, training, and compliance.
- Collaborate regularly with an internal IT leadership peer group to strengthen the overall User Access Provisioning (UAP) experience and promote cross-team alignment.
- Work with internal resources and third-party vendors to shape and enhance the UAP tool based on functional, operational, and compliance requirements that you help define.
- 3+ years of experience in identity and access management, including user provisioning, directory services, and access controls.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 identity tools.
- Hands-on experience supporting MFA, SSO, and lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, access changes).
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to work with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience creating and maintaining IAM policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta or similar tools.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry, especially with HIPAA or other regulatory compliance standards.
- Experience leading and mentoring team members.
- Cybersecurity experience

JOB SUMMARY
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive individual to lead the day-to-day execution and long-term optimization of our User Access Provisioning (UAP) program. In this role, you will manage the provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning of user accounts and permissions. You’ll own the full identity lifecycle for internal and external users, ensuring compliance with established access control standards and regulatory requirements.
Beyond execution, this position is critical in shaping and improving the overall UAP experience. You’ll work closely with IT, security, compliance, and business stakeholders to identify pain points, enhance governance, and automate manual workflows. You'll also lead in drafting policies and procedures, contributing to internal audits, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to refine tools and processes. As a key contributor within our IT leadership peer group, you'll help define and drive the strategic direction of access management across the organization.
