LCRA is looking for a UAS Technician. As a part of this UAS field team, your skills will contribute to the fast-growing innovation of using drones to inspect and map infrastructure, park lands, and water ways across the state of Texas. You will be trusted to:
• Performs as visual observer during UAS flights
• Assists in mission planning prior to flights
• Provides airspace conditions during missions
• Post-flight processing of UAS data
• Performs maintenance on UAS equipment
• Troubleshoots issues with equipment and software
• Performs the role of UAS Operator during flightsYou qualify with:
- One or more years of experience or exposure to UAS, surveying, mapping, GIS, photogrammetry, and/or aviation, or other relevant experience. Technical training in aviation, aerial mapping, photogrammetry, survey, GIS, or engineering may substitute for experience.
- Driver’s licenseYou are a great fit with:
- Knowledge or exposure to UAS, surveying, mapping, GIS, photogrammetry, and/or aviation
