What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create AAA quality user interface designs for in-game HUD and menu systems
- Collaborate with artists, designers, developers, and researchers to design accessible user experiences
- Deliver wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and in-game assets that are refined and user-friendly
- Proactively share and incorporate feedback while managing project tasks and updates
- Help evolve the studio’s standards of excellence for UI/UX design
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with screen design and rapid prototyping tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma)
- Detailed understanding of digital interaction design fundamentals and patterns
- Strong game design sensibilities and commitment to innovative player experiences
- Passion for game accessibility and player advocacy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working on UI/UX systems in AAA games
- Familiarity with game engines and implementation workflows
- Experience with the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Animate, and Illustrator)
- Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JS)
