  Your role

  Are you a delivery oriented and passionate senior investment professional? Do you have extensive experience in the financial industry, more specifically, in the field of portfolio management?
  
  We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Specialist to:
  • construct successful and tailor-made discretionary investment solutions in accordance with the UBS investment strategy and client specific investment objectives
  • support of Client Advisors to attract new clients
  • perform regular portfolio review meetings with clients / family offices and inform them on market conditions / trends and discuss portfolio performance as well as investment objectives
  • participate as voting member in the individual Client Investment Forum (CIF) of our UHNW flagship product UBS
  
  This role requires presence in Lugano two days per week.

  Your team

  This function within the business sector Global Wealth Management Strategic Clients will be responsible for the set-up and representation of sophisticated discretionary portfolios for our wealthiest and most demanding UBS Wealth Management clients.

  Your expertise

  • university degree in Finance or equivalent
  • CFA charter or CIIA
  • minimum 10 years+ experience in Finance / Portfolio Management (preferably with multi asset class portfolios)
  • deep understanding of financial markets, asset classes and investment products
  • very strong client orientation and excellent communication skills
  • ability to cope with pressure and a high level of proactivity, responsibility and attention to detail
  • fluent in Italian and English (additional languages are an advantage)
  • proficient user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg (programming skills are a plus)
  
  
  Your sound knowledge of investment products and the financial markets gives you the competency to understand and evaluate complex client requirements and as an asset navigator to prepare tailor-made investment proposals. You are highly client focused, interested in client facing activities and have proven communication skills to foster our important and long-lasting client relationships. This function is key for the acquisition and retention of assets for our institution.
