      Employment Opportunity

      As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will support critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues requiring an enhanced presence, and asset protection. This role is vital to Inter-Con's security services.

      Job Description

      • Maintain high visibility to deter crime
      • Answer questions and handle minor problems
      • Monitor entry/exit of personnel
      • Report situations immediately to appropriate personnel or emergency services
      • Contact law enforcement in emergencies
      • Inspect facilities for security breaches
      • Report anomalies, accidents, injuries, and damages
      • Protect property and deter theft
      • Maintain security logs and incident reports

      Qualifications

      • Alert, good judgment, ability to follow instructions
      • English language proficiency
      • Ability to monitor security systems

      Requirements

      Basic:

      • Physical examination within 6 months
      • Pre-employment drug screening
      • Training in security procedures, crowd control, public relations
      • Training on state policies on drug awareness, harassment, violence, discrimination
      • Training on electronic systems
      • Formal training if needed

      Education & Experience:

      • High school diploma or G.E.D.

      Licensing & Certifications:

      • Valid California Driver's License or ID
      • Driver's license if driving is required
      • First Aid and CPR certification
      • Guard Registration card

      Physical & Mental Requirements:

      • Capable of physical security work
      • Good health, vision, and hearing
