  Job Description

  • Maintain high visibility to deter crime
  • Answer questions and handle minor problems
  • Monitor entry/exit of personnel
  • Report situations and emergencies immediately
  • Inspect facilities for security breaches
  • Report accidents, injuries, and facility issues
  • Protect property and deter theft
  • Maintain security logs and incident reports

  Qualifications

  • Good judgment, alertness, and ability to follow instructions
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to monitor security systems and write reports

  Requirements

  Basic: Physical exam, drug screening, security training, state policy training, electronics operation training, formal training if needed.

  Education & Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D.

  Licensing, Permits & Certifications: Valid California Driver's License or ID, First Aid & CPR certification, Guard Registration card.

  Physical & Mental Requirements: Capable of physical security work, good health, vision, and hearing standards.
