  Job Skills / Requirements

  Must have a clean driving record, and have either military, law enforcement, or corrections background, or at least 1 year security experience.
  
  Pay range $19 - $21

  Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor facility and property of assigned client
  • Be professional at all times maintaining company expectations for customer service
  • Adhere to the rules of Top Guard and any parameters defined by the assigned client
  • Situational decision making; notifications to appropriate personnel if needed
  • Write reports either on provided electronic device or on paper
  • Make appropriate notifications to client’s assigned contact and Top Guard’s management
  
  Access Control
  · Monitoring of Inbound and Outbound Vehicle and Pedestrian traffic

  · Visitor Check-in & Check-out using electronic system.

  · Validate personnel that have forgotten/lost their badges using electronic system.

  · Check-in & Checkout Delivery Trucks, Vans, and other misc. vehicles using electric system.

  · Escort tankers and other vehicle types to key destinations.

  · Distribute Access Credentials to authorized personnel.

  · Escort Visitors and other Guests to key destinations.

  
  
  Requirements

  Authorized to work in the United States

  High School Diploma or Equivalent

  Must have a valid driver’s license, and a current driving record with no more than 3 violations.

  Specialized law enforcement, security and/or military experience (1 year or more required)

  Will need to be able to get OC and Taser trained (we provide the training)

  Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check as a condition of employment

  Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time, up to a full 8-hour shift

  Must be able to endure cold and hot weather for extended periods of time, up to a full 8-hour shift

  Occasionally lift or pull up to 50lbs

  Speak audibly, clearly and understandable in order to have information understood or to contact authorities.

  Must have good report writing skills, legible handwriting, and good written communication skills.

  Must be able to make situational decisions and be willing to notify proper supervisors at any time.

  Must have good comprehension skills and be able to retain training of the different posts at this location.

  Must have a positive attitude and always maintain a friendly demeanor.

  This site has a bonus incentive program where you could receive a perfect attendance bonus quarterly, monthly merit bonuses, officer of the month bonuses, and officer of the year bonuses, ranging from $25 to $300.
