      Overview This is no small job – It’s a big opportunity At Altria, we offer Internship programs in Engineering or Manufacturing! As an Intern you’ll have the opportunity to help Altria shape the future and deliver winning results in an exciting and dynamic time. We provide a paid summer program, you’ll experience on-the-job training, access to mentors, planned social events and educational opportunities. During your 12-weeks, you will have actual work projects and opportunities to grow your leadership skills. We are eager to work with you and help develop your skills. We will challenge and empower you to: Complete real-world project tasks, as part of multi-functional teams Participate in project scheduling, budgeting and solving real world problems Assist teams in identifying areas for improvement and developing/implementing solutions Document project work in formal reports and present findings/recommendations to senior management upon internship completion Is this experience for you? To qualify for the Engineering or Manufacturing summer intern program, you must be a student and: A rising juniors or seniors at the time of the internship in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred) A strong communicator with strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills and demonstrated leadership initiative An experienced in work related to academic subject area Engineering program participants pursing a relevant undergraduate Engineering degree program. Those completing the internship are considered for full-time positions and entrance into Altria's Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP). Manufacturing program participants pursing a relevant undergraduate Engineering, Technology or Business related degree program. Those completing the internship are considered for full-time positions and entrance into Altria's Manufacturing Leadership Development University (MLDU) Internship location will be in Richmond, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, or remote (based on company discretion and business need). Housing assistance is available for eligible interns! PLEASE NOTE: We do not retain resumes submitted outside of our application process.
