      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Handle mice and record biological parameters and blood glucose levels under various conditions
      - Collect and analyze data related to diabetes research
      - Run experimental assays and prepare samples for analysis, including RNA/protein preparation
      - Work collaboratively with other undergraduate and graduate students, as well as research specialists
      - Maintain accurate records and organize data effectively

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Current UW-Madison undergraduate student, ideally in Freshman or Sophomore status
      - Familiarity with word processing and database/spreadsheet software
      - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
      - Basic understanding of biological and experimental procedures
      - Good communication skills and a teamwork-oriented mindset
