      Job Description

      GTRI's Information and Communications Laboratory (ICL) is currently seeking an undergraduate research assistant to assist in development of prototypes to support improvements in ICL business operations. Work will involve web app development and require use primarily of Python and JavaScript.

      Required Minimum Qualifications

      Student Assistant/Research Assistant

      • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
      • Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university.
      • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience in Python and JavaScript
      • Experience with user-centered research and design
      • Interest in business functions such as human resources, accounting, and financial management
      • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas

      Hours per Week

      10–20 hours per week

      U.S. Citizenship Requirements

      Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.
