Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience working with a General Contractor, estimating projects valued between $5M and $100M.
• Expertise in estimating self-performed work, including pricing for labor, equipment, and materials.
• Strong knowledge of construction assemblies and all project phases.
• Ability to generate precise estimates from conceptual and schematic drawings, as well as create detailed final contract estimates.
• Capability to assess site exposures and construction risks while accurately reflecting these in estimates.
• Skilled in identifying constructability issues during the estimating process.
• Ability to propose value-engineering alternatives that can enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel to job sites for job walks and site visits as needed.

Education and Experience

• A four-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
• Proven experience in Underground Utility Estimating is essential.
• Effective communication skills with management and fellow team members.
• Expertise in estimating for underground utilities projects with budgets ranging from $5M to $100M.
• Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
