  Zurich Insurance Benelux is currently looking for an Underwriter Security and Privacy (Cyber) and Professional Indemnity (PI).   As Underwriter Cyber and PI you’re part of a leading underwriting team active in financial lines insurance products, servicing domestic (Belgium/Luxembourg) and international markets. Underwriting, risk management and risk awareness creation is part of the day-to-day. Bringing tangible customer value and international insurance program capabilities to our customers is a key part of our service delivery.

  This is a fulltime hybrid role where you will be based out of our office in Zaventem, Belgium.

  Key Accountabilities

  Together with your colleagues you will build up your expertise in Cyber insurance (Security & Privacy) and Professional Indemnity/errors & omissions. Teamwork is key alongside the independent coordination of your own customer portfolio from A to Z. Some of your tasks will include:

  • Manage, maintain and develop your portfolio with expertise in Cyber insurance and PI/ errors & omissions
  • Evaluate and analyse the insurance risks for Domestic and International Corporate customers as well as financial industry service providers.
  • Manage, develop and broaden contacts with insurance brokers and service providers
  • Promoting and creating awareness creation of new product offerings in national and international markets
  • Support Risk managers in understanding technology-related risks
  • Developing and rolling out new products by combining financial and analytical knowledge with a commercial approach

  Requirements/Profile

  • Minimum a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in preferably law or economics with a profound interest in ICT and service industries
  • Strong communicator, both fluent in English and Dutch or French
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the insurance sector
  • Capable to take well informed, stringent and very knowledgeable decisions
  • Keen on developing a broader expertise in insurance by using your commercial skills
  • Capable to work both in team as independent
  • Excellent administrative & processing skills
