      Understanding underwriting

      As an underwriting professional you will learn to use advanced tools to determine what risks Chubb can help cover.

      You’ll work right in the heart of our business, interacting daily with diverse teams across the company that assist in the underwriting process. As an underwriting professional, you will work with our clients and brokers and provide consistent, exceptional service.

      Qualifications

      Requirements and skills

      • Native speaker or bilingual in Swedish or Danish is a must
      • Business level of English is a must
      • Previous experience in insurance is a strong plus
      • Previous experience as an underwriter is desirable
      • Bachelor's degree
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook and Word)
      • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
      • Strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and willingness to deliver and improve the quality of our offerings
      • Good analytical skills to identify the necessary improvement opportunities in the Chubb policy and instrument life cycle, with an interest in personal and team learning
      • Customer-oriented aspect with good capacity for argumentation and negotiation
