What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide pre-quote support to the underwriting department, ensuring data accuracy and proper documentation
- Review and process bind orders, ensuring all necessary information is complete before policy issuance
- Complete policy drafting and data verification within internal systems
- Issue approved policies and manage post-bind transactions, including endorsements and cancellations
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues and streamline processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1 to 3 years of insurance operations experience
- Strong expertise in surplus lines policy issuance and post-bind operations
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- College degree preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
