What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking assistance with policy administration systems
- Assist in troubleshooting and determining the best solutions for user issues
- Lead meetings with business and technology partners to analyze and document business requirements
- Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure project objectives are understood and implemented correctly
- Create detailed requirements and assist in user-acceptance testing and training tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in business analysis, process management, or agile development
- Completion of Guidewire Business Analyst certification within 6 months in role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of process mapping tools such as Lucid Charts or Visio
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall
- Professional certifications, such as Associate in General Insurance (AINS) or CPCU
- Experience in property/casualty insurance, including underwriting or rating
- Familiarity with JIRA
- Good knowledge of technical concepts such as client-server and Cloud Architecture
