      YOUR ROLE


      Join our small, dynamic team and play a vital role in working across all business divisions, involving the development and delivery of IAG’s Portfolio Strategy, Portfolio Performance, Business Division License, and key elements of Underwriting Governance.
      You will support technical aspects related to the development and oversight of IAG’s Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). You will provide expert technical assistance and thought leadership to both portfolio and Underwriting aspects of the business, including hands-on support of IAG’s Business Division [underwriting] Licences (BDL’s). This includes the opportunity to help manage and handle IAG’s most complex and varied underwriting referrals.
      You will be working across all IAG’s Divisions in both Australia and New Zealand.

      ABOUT YOU

      • Minimum of 7 + years’ experience in the insurance industry, with a focus in portfolio or product management.
      • Strong technical experience in the insurance industry including Commercial Lines Underwriting.
      • Strong ability to review and synthesise lots of data from multiple sources.
      • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
      • Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise multiple projects while forward planning independently.
      • Demonstrated ability in managing complexity, ambiguity and responding to change.
      • Exceptional writing capability, attention to detail, strong PowerPoint skills.
      • Experience in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared goals.
      • An appropriate insurance qualification.
      • Ideal candidate will be in Sydney or Melbourne, however other locations will be considered.
